Description[]
The Targeted Electrical Discharge System, also known as the TESLA, is capable of firing a 200-milliamp arc of electricity. Useful for incapacitating targets, the high current causes muscular contractions strong enough to clamp down on the heart and prevent full cardiac arrest, leaving the target unconscious but alive. The TESLA is powered by experimental aluminum graphite nanobatteries housed within the forearm.

This is a very effective augmentation, allowing the user when fully upgraded to take out up to four targets non-lethally and quickly.
Can be used to temporarily shut down cameras, turrets and sentry bots as well as can stun Exo-Suits and bosses allowing Jensen to deliver either a lethal or non-lethal takedown on them.
Has been known to break the Ghost bonus when fired into a group of two or more people when they are facing each other, this is caused by them still being aware up until they fully drop to the ground and them seeing their allies being tazed by the Telsa, thus leading to a temporary hostile status and a loss of Ghost as a result.
